2010 Results!
The results are in and 2010 has set some new records, yet again! Thanks to everyone for your hard work and participation. The results and other interesting facts from this year's event are listed below.
By The Numbers
- Total miles ridden to work: 26,154 (an increase of nearly 10,000 miles over last year!)
- That means we saved around 1,245 gallons of gas!(According to the EPA, the US average mileage is 21 mpg)
- Or, if you think of the price of gas at $2.61/gal, we saved $3,250.60 this week by riding to work.
- We also saved approximately 29,329 pounds of CO2 emission by riding rather than driving.
